Program management for State Skill Mission 2016-22

  • GESPL has been co-partner with E&Y as the PMU (Program management Unit) for Bihar Skill Development Mission between 2016 – 22 and implemented  their mission to train 50 L+ youth. GESPL deployed a team of 50+ District Skill Managers (DSM) providing integral services across all districts of Bihar.
  • Scope :
  1. Identifying skill demands,
  2. Monitoring and accessing all government funded training activities.
  3. Managing TPs and Training centre affiliation etc.
  • Engagement duration: 2016 – 2022 (72 Months)

Skill gap study & creating CSR roadmap for Tata Group company

Client profile: Tata Metaliks Ltd.  
GESPL was entrusted with carrying out end to end study of Kharagpur industrial belt, the underlying job demands, demographic study of youth across 150 surrounding villages in their catchment area and projected . The study brought out their aspirations, local job demands and recommended road map for meaning full CSR implementation.

Sectoral Occupation Map & Development of QPs and NOSs

Client: Mining Sector Skill Council
Caried out widespread industry interactions for and on behalf of Mining SSC. GESPL was responsible to review the occupation maps and created 18 new Qualification Packs (QP) and NOS (National Occupational Standards), carried out Industry validation and subsequent NSDC validation and approval.

Advisory towards CSR and Employee Volunteering Programs for Corporate employees.

Client profile: Lafarge Cement    
Project Overview: GESPL was engaged by a European MNC to map organizational aspirations, evolve their CSR policy towards Employee Volunteering program (EVP) for their India operation. GESPL enabled end to end implementation and enabled participation of Mid to senior management employee. GESPL helped channelizing the Volunteers to matching NGOs / Non-profits.
